Modern vocational education - quality, digitalization, and international integration

On August 24 of this year, a republic-wide "August Council" conference for directors of vocational education organizations was held at the Shaykhantakhur district technical college in Tashkent under the motto "Modern vocational education - quality, digitalization, and international integration".

During the conference, the results of the past academic year were analyzed, and discussions focused on improving the quality of education, introducing modern and modular educational programs, digitalization, and strengthening cooperation with employers for the 2026/2027 academic year. The event was attended by the Vocational Education Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, international experts, partner organizations, employers, and representatives of the vocational education system, who outlined priority tasks for the development of the sector.

The initiatives put forward at the "August Council" will serve to train competitive and qualified personnel who meet the demands of the labor market.
