Digital Transformation of the Professional Development System: Priorities and Prospects

In accordance with Order No. 110 of the Director of the Vocational Education Agency, dated 2 July 2026, staff members of the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education organized practical seminar-training sessions across the regions to support the development of the professional development system for managerial and teaching staff of vocational education institutions.

The seminars brought together deputy directors for academic affairs, human resource development and management specialists, staff responsible for education quality assurance, and specialists in charge of administering digital platforms at regional vocational education institutions.

The primary objective of the seminars was to enhance participants' practical skills in using the prof-emis.edu.uz and my.moqt.uz digital platforms, promote the digitalization of management processes, strengthen practical competencies in operating the platforms, and establish a unified methodological approach across the regions.

During the training sessions, participants received practical guidance on:

  • effectively organizing user activities on digital platforms;
  • managing professional development processes electronically;
  • ensuring accurate and high-quality data entry and monitoring within the platforms;
  • addressing technical and methodological challenges encountered while using the platforms.

The seminars also featured open discussions, enabling participants to exchange views on existing challenges related to the use of digital platforms and explore practical solutions. In addition, methodological recommendations were developed to improve the quality of platform administration across vocational education institutions, establish effective internal monitoring systems, and systematically address identified shortcomings.

According to the approved implementation schedule, these seminar-training sessions will be conducted in phases across all regions of the country. Their consistent implementation is expected to accelerate digital transformation within vocational education institutions, ensure the effective use of digital platforms, and further improve the quality and efficiency of the professional development system.
