A cooperation meeting was held between the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education and SFUVET.

On June 24, 2026, a cooperation meeting was held at the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education with the participation of representatives of the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET), the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education, and the Helvetas VET4UZ project.

In particular, the meeting featured presentations by the Director of the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education, Kadirov Khayot Sharipovich, and other representatives, VET4UZ Project Manager Simone Strasburger, Senior Advisor and Senior Lecturer of the Swiss SFUVET organization Emanuel Wuthrich, as well as VET4UZ Project Senior Expert on Educational Effectiveness Shukhrat Kamolov. During the meeting, issues related to the effective preparation of vocational education teachers for practical activities, the implementation of competency-based education, adaptation of SFUVET’s innovative pedagogical approaches to the conditions of Uzbekistan, and the development of teachers’ professional capacities were discussed. In addition, an agreement was reached to review and improve the existing roadmap in order to further enhance cooperation in these areas.

The parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the wide implementation of competency-based education, exchange of experience, and implementation of future joint initiatives.
