On June 24, 2026, a seminar on institutional development was held with the aim of transforming the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education into a modern and effective educational center.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Vocational Education Agency, the Institute’s staff, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Helvetas, the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), UNESCO, KOICA, KfW, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank, NIRAS, DVV International, and other partner organizations.
The main objective of the seminar was to develop a common vision for the Institute’s future development and transformation directions, as well as to coordinate the contribution of partners in this process. The Institute also presented its transformation concept, during which its current state and future development model were discussed. International partners presented their ongoing and planned initiatives.
As a result of the discussions, a common agreement was reached on the existing and planned activities of partner organizations to support the Institute’s transformation process, as well as on further steps.
Within the framework of the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education. This document will contribute to further expanding cooperation between the parties in developing the vocational education system, strengthening the Institute’s capacity, and supporting reforms.
