Prospects for cooperation with the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan were discussed.

The Director of the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education, Kadirov Khayot Sharipovich, held a meeting with the Head of the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, Ms. Sara Noshadi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed UNESCO’s international experience in vocational education, the development of the TVET system, enhancing the professional capacity of teaching staff, improving the quality of education and assessment systems, as well as developing digital competencies and green skills. They also exchanged views on improving the activities of vocational education institutions in line with international standards, expanding cooperation within the UNESCO-UNEVOC network, introducing a micro-credentials system, and implementing joint research projects.

The parties held discussions on promising opportunities for cooperation in the development of vocational education, joint projects, and future collaboration plans.
