In Berlin, an agreement on cooperation in the field of vocational education was signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth of the Federal Republic of Germany.
This document is of particular importance as it represents an official cooperation agreement specifically dedicated to vocational education between the responsible ministries of the two countries.
Within the framework of the agreement, the parties will cooperate in the following areas:
🔹 conducting scientific research in vocational education;
🔹 developing the dual education system;
🔹 improving education governance mechanisms;
🔹 expanding cooperation between educational institutions and employers;
🔹 implementing joint projects and pilot initiatives.
To further develop practical cooperation, an Uzbekistan–Germany Joint Working Group will be established. This platform will strengthen ties between educational institutions, chambers, organizations, and enterprises of both countries.
This important step creates new opportunities for developing a competitive, highly skilled workforce aligned with labor market demands in Uzbekistan, as well as for the wider implementation of Germany’s advanced experience.
