On May 8 of this year, a meeting was organized between the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education and the DVV International office in Uzbekistan in order to further develop mutual cooperation and identify areas for joint activities in the future.

During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of international experience in adult education within the vocational education system, improving the capacity of teaching staff, expanding digital learning opportunities, and strengthening cooperation in the field of adult education were discussed. During the negotiations, the parties highly appreciated the results of joint projects implemented in previous years and emphasized the need to take cooperation to a new level.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on integrating the international Curriculum globALE modules into the Institute’s official professional development programmes, continuing and expanding online training courses for technical college leaders and teachers, and organizing joint seminars, workshops, and trainings. The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in creating modern and sustainable online courses and supporting innovative approaches in the field of vocational education.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further expand international cooperation, implement new joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education, and carry out practical work to renew the cooperation memorandum.
