A meeting was held between representatives of the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education, the “Furniture and Woodworking” Association, and the dealer company Anjir Group.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- Attracting foreign partners during the cooperation process;
- Localizing foreign vocational education programs;
- Organizing the training of teachers, instructors, and industry specialists in cooperation with the “Furniture and Woodworking” Association and the dealer company Anjir Group in Uzbekistan;
- Strengthening international cooperation;
- Establishing experience exchange programs.
It was also noted that today there is a real demand for nearly 5,000 skilled workers in the field of “Furniture and Woodworking” across the regions of our Republic, and recommendations were made on cooperating in training them based on labor market requirements. The participants also exchanged views on improving the short-term professional development of teachers and instructors working in the field and strengthening experience-sharing practices.
