An extraordinary meeting of the Trade Union was held at the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education under the Vocational Education Agency.

On February 19 of the current year, an extraordinary meeting of the Trade Union was held at the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education under the Vocational Education Agency. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Institute, members of the Trade Union, as well as representatives of the Tashkent City and Olmazor District Councils of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan.

The main item on the agenda was the election of the Chairperson of the primary trade union organization and members of the committee through an open and transparent voting process. The election was organized in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation. As a result of the open voting, Giyasov Javlonbek Shavkatovich was elected Chairperson of the Institute’s Trade Union with 100 percent of the votes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the newly elected Chairperson and committee members were entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the rights and interests of the staff, ensuring occupational safety, and strengthening social partnership.
