Reforms in the field of vocational education and priority tasks for 2026 were discussed

On January 7, 2026, a videoconference meeting was held at the Vocational Education Agency on the reforms being implemented in the field of vocational education, as well as priority tasks for 2026.

In his speech, the Director of the Vocational Education Agency, Azimjon Khusanov, touched upon the essence of the tasks set in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan regarding the field of vocational education.

During the meeting, the issue of introducing international educational programs in technical schools in 2026 was also considered in detail. Reports were presented on this issue by the Head of the Kashkadarya Regional Vocational Education Department O. Mavlonov and the Head of the Samarkand Regional Vocational Education Department A. Nasimov.

The meeting was attended by employees of the central office of the Vocational Education Agency, heads and specialists of regional vocational education departments, as well as directors of technical schools throughout the republic and their deputies.

At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Vocational Education Agency gave relevant instructions on ensuring the implementation of the tasks set, improving the quality of vocational education in the regions, and introducing international experience.
