Cooperation with China in the field of vocational education is expanding

The delegation of the Samarkand Regional Department of Higher Education, Science and Innovation visited the People's Republic of China and reached a number of agreements with Beijing and Gansu regions on the development of cooperation in the field of vocational education.

The delegation participated in the CACIE 2025 International Education Conference within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and discussed the issues of adapting vocational education to international standards, establishing joint training centers, and expanding cooperation within the framework of WorldSkills Asia.

During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the department, Sunmaker Training Institute, and CIIC International Education Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. on the development of digital vocational education.

As part of the cooperation, it is planned to create digital educational resources in 12 areas, organize online and offline training. The delegation also aims to study the advanced experience of vocational colleges in Gansu region and apply it in the local education system.
