"Business model innovation" seminar

On October 7, 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation organized a seminar on “Business Model Innovation” at the Institute for the Development of Professional Education.

🔺This seminar was conducted by Sebastian Held, Senior Expert in Innovation Management, a large insurance concern of SV SparkassenVersicherung, Sparkasse savings banks in Germany. Such seminars provide an important opportunity to get acquainted with practical methods and achievements in the field of business and innovation in Germany and discuss their application in the conditions of Uzbekistan with the heads of educational institutions.

🔺The seminar “Business Model Innovation” is designed to familiarize directors of vocational education institutions with business and innovation, and the seminar is planned to be organized in all regions.

🔺This seminar is aimed at supporting the development of financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills in technical schools, strengthening and ensuring the quality of the educational process and institutional capacity. The intended goal is to establish and develop one or more small businesses in technical schools in the future, thereby ensuring students' participation in business processes and helping them improve their professional knowledge and practical skills.
