About the Institute

  • According to the Presidential Decree PQ-4391 dated July 11, 2019, On introducing new principles of governance into the higher and secondary specialized education system,” the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education was established on the basis of the Institute for Innovative Development of Vocational Education, Professional Development and Retraining of Pedagogical Staff under the Vocational Education Center of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • The Institute is an institution under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and serves as a state educational organization responsible for the innovative development of the vocational education system, professional development and retraining of managers and pedagogical staff.
  • To achieve its stated goals and ensure the innovative development of the vocational education system, the Institute operates in the following three main areas:
  • Planning and development of vocational education
  • Professional development and retraining of managerial and teaching staff
  • Publication of educational materials and regulatory documents
  • The Institute is headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor Zayniddin Yavkachevich Khudayberdiyev.
